SKATERS ACHIEVE SUCCESS ON ASSESSMENT DAYS

Shellbrook StarSkaters successfully completed assessments in November and December in Shellbrook and Melfort.  All STAR 1-5 assessments are done by a coach assessor in which their coach, Tasje Sharron, has completed her assessor training.

Jayden Nelson passed STAR 2 Skills, Canasta Tango, and STAR 2 Free skate program.

Sarah Fisher passed STAR 3 Free skate elements, STAR 4 skills, STAR 3B dance elements, Swing Dance, and STAR 3 Free skate program.

Gwyn Phan passed her Baby Blues, STAR 3 Skills, STAR 3B Dance elements, STAR 3 FS Elements, and STAR 3 FS program.

Julia Shindle travelled to Melfort's High Assessment Day and passed her Rocker Foxtrot, Starlight Waltz, STAR 10 FS elements and STAR 10 FS program.

Looking forward to the rest of the season, these skaters will be preparing for Regionals Feb. 8-9 in Prince Albert and/or Winter Classic Feb. 28-March 2 in Regina.  Amongst all this preparation will be more assessments and getting ready for the ice show.
